Aeneas of Gaza: Information, life and works -
Aeneas of Gaza was a fifth/sixth-century apologist, who was both contemporary and friend of Procopius of Gaza.
His major work is the Theophrastus, which is an apologetic dialogue that aims to harmonize much of Neoplatonist thought with Christian teaching, whilst offering correctives on the eternity of matter, pre-existence of the soul, etc.
