Fathers, Brothers and Sisters,

May I ask your prayers of Many Years for our newly elected Archbishop Job (Getcha) of Telmessos, Patriarchal Exarch for Parishes of Russian Tradition in Western Europe. Confirmed by the Holy Synod in Constantinople after his election on Saturday last.

Also on Saturday Archbishop Gabriel of Comana was laid to rest.  Memory Eternal.  He was the bishop who ordained me to the sub-deaconate.

The conjunction of dates appears to be coincidental,  Archbishop Gabriel had resigned due to ill health in January,  and the election of his successor was scheduled for mid year.  That election was inconclusive and a further election scheduled for 1st/2nd November.   Archbishop Gabriel reposed in Christ the week before it.
