Hi

Does anyone know were I can buy a small Orthodox Church like the ones they have in Greece on the side of the road?

Or if you know anyone that sells them in Australia?

They are dedicated to Saints most of them.

Thanks

I would be very surprised if such chapels exist in Australia, even in states such as Victoria or New South Wales, which have the largest Orthodox populations. They certainly don't exist in the state where I live.

If you mean those small chapels some have even on their properties, in Greece as you may know plenty of places build them as modular structures you can just go and pick out the size and features. Unlikely such an industry exists in our parts. Probably expensive to build one from scratch with a dome. In the States (and i would think australia) places specialize in building all sizes and styles of sheds which you can outfit into a chapel, as the most cost effective way. May needa carpenter to add a small dome to it.

If you mean those little roadway shrines, just print out a photo and let a local carpenter build one for you. Should not cost much.

They are personal, built by whoever uses them. Never seen one in the USA. Here is a web-site with photos about the many variations.
