Does anyone have any idea why Patriarch Kirill went to Antarctica immediately after his visit with the Pope? I have to believe there is more to it than he simply wanted to see the sights.

Thanks,

A

Nice, He talked a lot about the Holy Trinity and the ROC. One wonders if during his meeting with the Pope, he assured him that with true repentance and confession of the " One and Holy" truth, he would be able to return to the Orthodox Faith.

Probably not, nor vice versa. One assumes that what they talked about in Havana was what was set forth in the Joint Declaration. It was supposed to be just about the migrant crisis but in the end covered other matters as well.
