Does the Church have any liturgical or patristic texts mentioning or alluding to the possibility that Saint Andrew was crucified upside-down on his X-crucifix?  I have seen iconography showing this every so often.  Thanks!

In my experience, the iconography of the crucifixion of St Andrew is completely consistent in showing him "right-side up", irrespective of the age of the icon or where it was produced.
