I was looking at icons and can see one that has Panagia with Jesus but without a veil

Has anyone seen icons like this?

I always thought Panagia wears a veil always

Thanks

Ideally, icons of the Mother of God should not show her unveiled, or with her hair showing. However, historically, certain images of Roman Catholic origin depicting her with her hair visible, were painted in iconographic styles. This happened across the Orthodox world in past centuries, particularly in the area of eastern Europe where there was significant overlap between Roman Catholic and Orthodox populations, such as Ukraine, Belarus and Romania.
