A had a customer today asking for a Spanish translation of the bible. Are there any Orthodox editions? If not, any recommendations? I thought Ignatius published a Spanish version, but apparently not. I'm trying to avoid "study" bibles that are not Orthodox. Thanks!

If you go to www.biblegateway.com you can look up passages or whole chapters in the Bible in many different versions and languages. There are 7 different Spanish language versions. I don't think that any of them us the Septuagint as the basis of the O.T. nor do I think that any of them include old of the O.T. books that is in the Orthodox canon. I am not sure what any of the translations used as a base (Greek) source.

There are downloadable copies of the Bible in Spanish that I have found in the past but do not have links to at the present time. You might Google to find them.

I hope this helps.
