I was wondering if anyone had visited Panagia Pammakaristou in North Carolina. I'm only about 4 hours away and would like to make my way up there for a pilgrimage and wanted to see if anyone had any information on it. Panagia Prousiotissa is even closer (about 2 hours) and I will probably visit there, as well.

What are your questions, John?

My apologies. I feel kind of dumb now. I was just wondering if anyone had info on that monastery (or both).

Hi John,

I've been to the men's, I see and talk with the Abbot regularly and will be visiting the women's in the very near future. What information are you seeking?

In Christ,
Andrew

Andrew -

Are there times when the abbot allows for visitors? I am new to the North Carolina area, and am thinking of going there.

Hello George,

If you have trouble contacting the men's monastery, I would suggest calling the women's monastery. He serves there a few times a month and the nuns keep his schedule for hearing confessions on the days he is there.

See you Sunday ; )

In Christ,

Jason
