I would like to find out whether there is a complete Arabic text of the Divine Liturgy of St John Chrysostom available for download anywhere on the Internet.

Also, please can anyone tell me where i could get a printed bilingual text / servicebook of the Liturgy, either Arabic-English or Arabic-Greek?

Very grateful for any advice.

Not sure about the online, but for a printed one Arabic/English, you can obtain one from the Antiochian Archdiocese in the US. I think Light & Life Publications (very large supplier of many things Orthodox) in the States has them as well.

Yes, there is something online. I have found an Arabic Orthodox bookstore at http://www.alexiapub...s.com/index.htm and there you can download a pdf of their books in Arabic. You will find a Divine Liturgy booklet in Arabic on page 18.

Sorry, I see now that all you can get online is the catalogue.

I would also be interested in an Arabic psalter - a Church edition, if there is one available.

Margaret, I failed earlier to notice your location. If my Arabic vocabulary and typing were better I could probably find something better, but here are some links that might help.

http://www.ortmtlb.org.lb/ -- Antiochian Archdiocese of Mount Lebanon (the main Antiochian Patriarchate web site seems under repair)

http://www.balamand....ogy/bookstr.htm - Bookstore at the St. John of Damascus Institute of Theology. There is a phone number there for folks in the Mideast.

http://araborthodoxy.blogspot.com/ -- Notes on Arab Orthodoxy. Good articles and links.

http://www.saintgeorgetaybeh.org/ -- An Orthodox parish in Taybeh. Dr. Maria Khoury there is an author who visits the USA frequently. They list their location as "Palestine" and my impression is that that expresses their way of looking at regional and political things. Phone number, though the web site may not have been updated recently.

As I say, I have only a few links, and I can't really vouch for them, but they look good from here in the USA. And some of them have phone numbers you can call over there and talk with a real human being!

On this page http://www.alexiapub...rvice_Books.htm there are listed two "Psalm Books." You might inquire to see if they are Psalters in the sense you are seeking.
