Can anyone translate this Latin phrase for me? It's found in the canons composed by St Maximos the Confessor for the Lateran council of 649. Here's the quote:

Whosoever does not confess, in accordance with the holy Fathers, by word and from the heart, really and in truth, to the last word, all that has been handed down and proclaimed to the holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church, by the holy Fathers and by the five venerable Ecumenical Councils, condemnatus sit.

Is "let them be cast out" a possible translation?

Dear Monk Herman,

I think the meaning is more towards "may he be condemned."

I hope this helps!

With agape in our Lord Jesus Christ,
+ Father Stephanos
