Recently there was a poster who had quite a few posts deleted as outside the scope of the forum. At one point this poster included in one of his posts the suggestion that even if the posts were not accepted that a copy be sent back to him. We, the moderators, try to do this whenever there is some benefit to be gained (eg. to demonstrate how it could be reworded, or to point out the "flaw" in a post and make suggestions about how to rework it). In response to this poster's suggestion, the next time a post was deleted, a copy was made and returned to him via PM. But he had set his account to refuse PM's and so the copy never got to him - it just bounced back.
If you as a member of this forum want feedback - make sure your account is set to receive private messages (the default setting). If you shut off the PM's for some reason, you cut yourself off not only from messages sent by your friends here, but also from messages sent by the moderators to help you improve your participation here. Just a reminder to keep up with the settings on your account.
