Can someone please recommend a simple and concise introduction to the Orthodox Faith--or a catechism--that is not heavy on theology and history, but gives more of a practical understanding of the various aspects of the Faith?

(i.e. more practical, less academic)

Thanks,

A

Well, actually, I like "Becoming Orthodox" by Fr. Peter Gilquist.

I suggest the book "Empirical Dogmatics" by Metropolitan Hierotheos of Nafpaktos: http://tinyurl.com/jwhxpb8

I believe the book can be found at several bookstores online.
