Christ is in our midst!

I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the monastery of St. John in Hiram, I've been exploring a monastic call for a while now and I'm just now entering the phase of looking at different monasteries, and since the Monastery of St. John is the only men's monastery in my diocese I would like to know more about it but I'm having trouble finding out anything, I was hoping someone might know something about it.

In Christ,

David Seraphim

I spent the night there a few years ago.  It has a rather new guest house that is quite nice.  You can call them at 330-274-2052 to arrange a visit.

I would also suggest looking into the Saint Gregory Palamas Monastery for a Greek Orthodox jurisdiction:  http://sgpm.goarch.org/Monastery/

Go and explore, and may God lead you on a path to do His will, David!
