When praying the Great Lenten Prayer of St Ephraim how are the prostrations done? From standing to face down?
Thank you

Dear Gideon and others,
The link posted by Lawrence is helpful. The short answer (made here on the boards for those who read via email and cannot jump to the web site link): a full prostration involves making the sign of the Cross; then falling upon one's knees and leaning forward with both hands flat upon the ground in front of you, inclining until your head touches the earth. From this, one returns to the standing position.
