I was wondering, do most Orthodox who come to the USA say the oath of allegiance? I am having conflicting thoughts about my own oath, I have not taken it, and it feels to me as if it conflicts with God..when I became Orthodox I denounced Satan and his angels, but I've realized that now I have to say the oath to the US constitution

Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's and to God that which is God's?

I swore an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States when I became an officer in the US Navy, and again when I became a civil servant. I don't see a conflict, neither do the Orthodox chaplains who have sworn the same oath as far as I know.

You might be interested to read through the contents of a thread of conversation held in this community about two years ago, on the matter of serving on juries in courts (http://www.monachos.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1391). It's not directly your question, but much of the discussion applies in general principles.
