I was just wondering what the Holy Orthodox Church believes if a male has nocturnal emissions and the procedures which he must take to be clean again, this is directly in line with what the church tells that man to do before recieving the Eucharist

This is a pastoral question which can only be answered by your priest. There are a number of different prayer rules that can be undertaken (one is contained in a little booklet called "Prayers for Purity" - not sure anymore where it can be found). But as for which prayer rule or what spiritual remedy might be applied - your only certain answer is to ask your confessor for direction - he is the one who knows your spiritual condition and can put this event into context.

The booklet which Fr. David speaks of can be bought from St. Nektarios Press (http://www.stnectariospress.com/catalog/prayer_b.htm). There is also a small booklet by Monastery Press (http://www.monasterypress.com/presstitles.html) called "Rule of Prayer Against Evil Thoughts," which is helpful for cutting off problems before they start (if you see them ahead.

Afterwards, saying the 50th Psalm is always a good idea too.
