There may be a better place to put this thread, but i was not sure.

I was asked to find 2-3 paragraphs of 19 Centuary prose to read out for a voice production course that i am on, eg. Jane Austen, Personally i was looking forward to finding something very Inspiring Orthodox Chrisian wise, if you could let me know i would appreciate it,I was not sure what book or genre or what is prose exactly, any recommendations? and bare in mind i have to have it ready by wednesday, forgive me that i am last moment doing this. I will i think read it out loud to a group that i am not sure of their responce, Any Love for God inspiring works done by any saints that are prose? Is Saint Necktarios a Prose work in the 19th Centuary, if so that may be the one i want, any ones in particular that you can recommend and pass on any links on the web, if possible make it so it inspires me to be simple, as you can see from this message i am complicated

with love in Christ

Dear Charalambos,

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on us by the prayers of your holy Saint Nectarios!

Thank you for posting the moving account of St Nectarios' life. Truly he must have been a man of God, in heaven now. I hope the other students on your voice production course enjoy your reading of the boat incident.

In Christ
