Dr. Matthew,

I think st. Basil said we were created in image of God in the freedom of will and in mind but we should struggle to reach to the likeness which is mean the perfect holiness as man can reach, Adam have the image and all people even the sinful, but the likeness is reached by the righteous with help of the grace, Adam fall in front of trial to reach the likeness which he is created to reach to it but I try to find the exact and accurate expression, but I do not where he write this or another one fathers had spoken in this matter
