e.g:
cleansing of the temple in Jn2:
many of the commentraies not see historicl contradiction with the other bibles Mtxxi:12; Mr xi:15 Lu xix:45,46 why?
as this happen two times:
1- at the commencement of Jesus public ministry
2- at the close of Jesus public ministry
the references :
*Jamieson, Fausset, Brown, Commentary,on jn ii:14
* Poole-Mathew: Pool's Commentary of the Bible on jn ii:14
Barens New Testament Notes on jn ii:14
SO, there is no contradiction but we try to analyse each thing under the truth.
also, my simple knowledge that:
st. jhon the beloved speak about the divinity of christ and its indications in his 3 ministry years.
I am not have the commentary of st. cyril if any one try to know what his mind?
St. Jhon chrisostom say:
{They do not in this contradict each other, but show that he did this a second time, and that both these expressions were not used on the same occasion, but that He acted thus once at the beginning of His ministry, and again when He had come to the very time of His Passion}
HOMILY XXIII: JOHN ii. 13,14:
