Chad Duskin's short lecture on 'eos' (http://www.monachos.net/cgi-bin/mb/show.cgi?tpc=4225&post=1485#POST1485) was so informative, so well done, I wonder if he, or anyone else with the energy, would discuss the true nature of kerygma?
I have taken the term to refer to a preacher's homily, but one directly focused on the faithful's relation with the Lord, and specifically not one speaking to moral issues.
To say as much seems simple enough, but when confronted with the variety of ways that the term Kerygma is actually used, I become confused. I seem unable to sort out the evidence in too many cases.
So, I am wondering if we might get some clarity on this lovely term, perhaps as lucidly done as was that on eos?
