Does anyone know if the Optina Pustyn has an email address that I can access? Recently I lost my Baptismal Cross and, through my great reverence for the Holy Optina Elders, would like to obtain a wooden one made at the Monastery. Thank you!

I do not even think they have a website. Perhaps if you go to www.mospat.ru (http://www.mospat.ru), you can get a telephone number. I know that Optina is a Stravropegial Monastery but that they would also be listed in the Diocese of Kaluga.

Point of information - At the moment mospat.ru is "under construction". The Russian language site seems to be "up and running" again, however the English language version is still not available. From the information I was given, the whole site was begin renovated and was offline for a time and is coming back on piecemeal.
