Online Orthodox news

Greetings all,

Is there an Orthodox equivalent to the excellent Catholic World News website (www.cwnews.com (http://www.cwnews.com))? Is the Orthodox Christian News website (www.orthodoxnews.com (http://www.orthodoxnews.com)) my best bet?

The GOARCH site, which I tried, is focused on regional interests, while I hope to keep abreast of happenings in the broader Orthodox world.

Or, failing that, is there a US-based magazine, paper, or newsletter which would serve the same end?

Rob,

Right now, I think the best one is orthodoxnews.com. If you're really into it, you could always do what I did and bookmark the news sections of the various jurisdiction websites (GOA, ROCOR, OCA, Antiochian), and also bookmark sections of fora that are specifically about Christian News (Orthodoxchristianity.net has one). Then, just visit once every week or two and scan to see if anything looks interesting.

Glory to Jesus Christ: I use the Google Alert System … it works wonderfully I have and alert for Orthodox Church as well as individual dioceses …. I get e mail instantly from any media in the world on these topics .. it is extraordinary …. In Christ ….FrGeorge
