Chrismation

Dear Monachos Community:

As many of you know, though maybe not, I've been inquiring into Orthodoxy for about a year and a half. Today my spiritual father, Fr. Radu Bordienau (with my agreement) set my chrismation date for September 11th.

Please accept my humble thanks for your prayers in the past, and a request for your continued prayers in the future. This has been a difficult decision. My husband is supportive of my journey, but is not necessarily supportive of having two different traditions in the house.

I wish Fr. Averky were here so I might tell him, though I think he already knows. :-)

Lord have mercy on me a sinner. Oh Holy Theotokos intercede for me. Fr. Averky pray for me.

As for myself please keep me in your prayers as I fulfill the 5th commandment. Translation- I am flying to Toronto to visit my parents for two weeks beginning this Monday.
