The Bible in Greek

Can anyone help me? I am trying to find a leather bound Bible in Greek for my fiance. So far, I have only come upon Interlinear bibles including Greek, or the New Testament in Greek. I am looking for the entire bible, completely in Greek and if possible, with a very nice leather binding that will be as much a keepsake as an everyday reference and treasure for him. If you could help with this, I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks.

I went online, and even looking at sites in Greece, I found basically the New Testament in Greek. If you are thinking in terms of a sort of "Family Bible," that is not so much an Orthodox family tradition, as it is with Western Christians. On the other hand, the New Testament, and particularly the Holy Gospels is much more common, and leather bound New Testaments are available.

I found an online bookstore in Greece called "Philokalia," which did have a section entitled "The Holy Bible," but when I clicked on it nothing happened. I will keep on looking. International Bible Society might have something, but they tend not to have deluxe editions of their Bibles, since they are intended for mass distribution.

I so appreciate your efforts. Thank you very much. My fiance is getting ready to begin his PhD in theology and during his graduate studies, truly fell in love with the Greek language in his biblical study. His focus of study will be in Christian Ethics, but he is hoping to continue his Biblical Greek study as much as possible. Thanks again for your help.

Holy Cross Bookstore has a Bible in Greek, and perhaps you could find a hand bindery to bind it in leather for you. ( We do hand binding here) Also, try Google, which does have a few listings, I hope you will find what you are looking for. God bless!
