Has anyone read Beauty, Sexuality and Love by Vladimir Sergevich Solovyov, particularly the third section "The Meaning of Love"? It would be interesting to discuss this essay.

If I may ask: what is it in his writings that captures your heart the most?

For me, it is in highlighting that the thirst for beauty, sexuality and love, is our rudimentary response to the calling of God, our highest Love.. that while in the world, we start to transcend towards the spiritual, much like a child plays with blocks as a symbolic form to understand geometry, math.. which are beyond the symbols, but taken and derived from them.

We do not see clearly, and much is mystery to us, but with the beauty, sexuality and love we are helped to grow spiritually towards atonement to God.
