I find that this gospel is mentioned for the first time by Irenaeus in adv.haer. but I can not find exactly where this is written? also, are there any fathers speak about it or not?

IRENAEUS AGAINST HERESIES -- BOOK I , Chap. XXXI

1. Others again declare that Cain derived his being from the Power above, and acknowledge that Esau, Korah, the Sodomites, and all such persons, are related to themselves. On this account, they add, they have been assailed by the Creator, yet no one of them has suffered injury. For Sophia was in the habit of carrying off that which belonged to her from them to herself. They declare that Judas the traitor was thoroughly acquainted with these things, and that he alone, knowing the truth as no others did, accomplished the mystery of the betrayal; by him all things, both earthly and heavenly, were thus thrown into confusion. They produce a fictitious history of this kind, which they style the Gospel of Judas.

one of the stranger expressions in this book is that:

in this book their is a very deep Gnostic atmospher appear in the words of the jesus of this book:

1- about God said 2 times:
the one , Great One

2- about creation of the Cosmos and the names of angles and their rule:
a- aeon,chaos, Nebro, Yaldabaoth, Saklas --who create the human being in his image., harmathoth, galila, yobel, adonaios.
b. Adamas was the 1st luminous cloud..

3- Seth --son of adam, pointing to Seth 2 times, jesus said:
a. He i.e God, made the incorruptible generation of seth appear.
b. the 1st -- of the twelve rulers, is Seth who is CALLED CHRIST.

p.s. their is a sect of Gnosticism glorifies Seth
