God bless this site.
Please can you help?
My Aunty, Niki Lytris. Melbourne, Australia.
She has suffered for many years; from the demon cancer which has now consumed her entire body.
Please I beg you, if you all could please say some prayers for her and light some candles also!
My Aunt’s faith is very, very strong and Saint Nectarios` has preformed miracles for her in the past.
The cancer has now surrounded her heart, blocking her veins so unable to circulate blood throughout her body, causing her heart to be faint. I know the Lord and all the Saints along with our most Holy Mother are keeping her alive.
Apart from the fact that she has been living with only one lung and the cancer growths on either side of her throat are blocking her air passage, she seems fine in spirit.
Her Doctors would like to open her up and perform laser treatment, but her heart needs to become a lot stronger before this can be done.
I know there are miracles being preformed every minute of the day for her, otherwise she would be in Heaven now. Her own Doctors are confused at the mystery that she still lives today.
I spoke to her today by telephone as I live in Sydney. She told me “that the days are getting harder”, but in the evening when time approaches for her prayers, her strength returns. She also went on to say that with prayer she would be able to overcome this. And that “she is in the lord’s hand”. “What ever the lord wants of her”, She would be pleased.
My aunty has been close to death before, when I have visited her last in hospital. She was incapacitated. She told me this Sunday I would like you to join me and go to church together. I accepted, only because it would please her, and I went along with it.
Come Sunday morning, I was totally shocked. My aunty was out of her hospital bed without any help from the nurse`s, and seemed to be more fit than I was.
This was the case every Sunday.
My auntie’s faith in Lord is the strongest I’ve ever seen or known in my life. I believe God has only given her what she can handle. And now this may only be a test by Lord to see her true faith and also inspire others to have faith.
Her doctors have told her there is nothing else they can do unless her heart strengthens.
So please, I beg if you could please say some prayers and light some candles, as I know the prayers will be heard.
I will keep you all informed of her progress. And I’m sure with your help; God will touch her one more time.
Thank you for your prayers!
Many thanks, God bless.

I would like to thank anyone whom has prayed for my aunty, and God bless you.
Her doctors want to send her home now as there is a cancer growth on her heart. The doctors can`t really do much for her now and its all in Gods hands.
Please feel free to leave a reply and thanks again for your prayers.
God bless you all.

Heavenly Father, physician of our souls and bodies, Who have sent Your only-begotten Son and our Lord Jesus Christ to heal every sickness and infirmity, visit and heal also Your handmaid from all physical and spiritual ailments through the grace of Your Christ. Grant her patience in this sickness, strength of body and spirit, and recovery of health. Lord, You have taught us through Your word to pray for each other that we may be healed. I pray, heal Your servant and grant to her the gift of complete health. If sickness and suffering increase, also increase her strength and endurance, that she might bear a good witness to your Holy Name. For You are the source of healing and strength and to You I give glory, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.
O Lord our God, Who by a word alone did heal all diseases, Who did cure the kinswoman of Peter, You Who chastise with pity and heal according to Your goodness; Who are able to put aside every sickness and infirmity, do You Yourself, the same Lord, grant aid to Your handmaid and cure her of every sickness of which she is grieved; and send down upon her Your great mercy, and if it be Your will, give to her health and a complete recovery; for You are the Physician of our souls and bodies, and to You do we send up Glory: to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Both now and forever, and to the ages of ages. Amen.

Dear Brother in Christ Ioannis,
May God grant you and your Aunty His many blessings of comfort, peace, and joy that surpasses all understanding.
Thank you for sharing this most beautiful testimony of God's grace and mercy. It is sufficient for all things, which your post attests to.
My Mother was recently diagnosed with lung cancer and has just received her second treatment of chemotheraphy. The strength and depth of her faith is an inspiration. Her sincerity of prayer and trust in Our Holy Lord God puts me to shame. She honors me by asking me to walk with her in this journey, sinner and weakling that I am.
May God bless you for the encouragement you've shared. Give your Aunty a big hug from a sister-in-Christ in the USA.
With love and prayers,
Athanasia

Thank you for the beautiful prayer. It is so uplifting. I will add it to my prayers each night, and also when I light my candles. The doctors will be sending my aunty home early next week.
May God touch her and give her strength.
Thanks again, God bless you.

Thank you for your prayers. I’m sorry to hear that your mother is also affected by cancer.
May the Lord look down upon your mother and touch her, may the most holy mother Mary hear our prayers and offer her healing love to your mother. May all the Saint guard her faith and give her courage.
For yourself also may the Lord give you strength. As this may be a long and difficult journey.
There always seems to be more questions than answers. But with time things start to change, and just when you think, nothing is happening? You start to notice, only little things at first. But also like your faith in God. These things develop into bigger things. And then you suddenly notice the Lord is upon your loved one, and these miracles. Have being happening for a long time; Along with your faith, they also strengthen. And those sins will also slowly diminish. I do understand what you’re saying. So have faith in the Lord and you will begin to see.
My aunty may be in her last hours. But like my aunty, I also have faith in the lord. Her doctors may have given up on her, but somehow I do not believe the Lord has. The lessons I have learnt through this, are bigger than life itself.
So take the journey. And don’t look back!
This Sunday at church, I will light a candle and say prayers for your mother.
Yours
Ioannis

Thank you all for your Prayers.
Sorry I have been away, visiting my aunty in Melbourne.
God help all. My aunty is slowly slipping away.
Her doctors are unable to do anything for her anymore. The cancer on her heart is now the size of a egg, last Friday she suffered a Heart attack. But with Gods help she survived. My aunty was sent home and her condition seems to be deteriorating by the day. The pain she is now suffering is enormous.
So much, she is in fear of sinning.
I have returned to Sydney, where I live, but have remained in touch by telephone. I called her earlier only to learn she had returned to Hospital.
My aunty told me " her legs were giving her sharp pains, like electric shocks" to the point where she passed out, and had to be moved back into hospital.
But thank God she is ok. Again she asks for "prayers so she can find the strength to deal with this agonizing pain".
Her legs are now almost motionless as the Arteries are blocked with cancer.
Through all that has happened her spirit is high, within her faith. She praises the Lord for all the miracles. And thank God, she is holding onto her trust in him.
My prayers are also with her, and may the Lord give her the strength to withstand the pain without sin.
And when her time comes may it be peaceful for her.
Lord have mercy on her.

May I thank the Lord.
Three days ago I posted a message asking for prayer, to give strength for my aunty Niki. As her condition was worsening.
Yet another miracle.
My aunty has movement back in her legs, and the pain in her body has reduced.
Thank you all so much for your prayers.
May the Lord have mercy on us all, in this age that we live.
Thank you all once again.
God bless

Sunday Last 9th July,my aunty was addmitted to Hospital. The problem with her legs had reappeared. This time it had also affected her left arm.
After been examined by her doctors,my aunty and cousin were informed.
In cases like this we would remove both your legs and your arm. But due to your heart condition, we are unable to.
There is really nothing we can do. They gave my aunty less than 3 days to live.
My auntys response to the doctors was, I dont know whats wrong with you Doctors? God will take me when he wants to. There is nothing wrong with me. I can still do my cross with my right arm. Why say such things? you are not God!
That same Sunday I attended St Nickolas Church for Liturgy. This been the third time I had been. After Liturgy I saw the priest and asked if I could visit him, sometime during the week. He said I could any weekday between 4.00 and 6pm.
Come Monday I spoke to my cousin by phone. She was quite distressed with my auntys condition. I told her, After work, I will pray to the Holy Theotokos.
That After noon I had my prayer as soon as I got home. Quite intense if I might add, after prayer, I went about cooking my dinner.
Some two hours had passed when I had a phone call. Your aunty is home and well!
I called my aunty she told me the doctors have gone mad. There is nothing wrong with me Im moving around. God is not ready for me. I asked can you walk? Yes!! Im ok thank God. Your arm? Thats good also.
Thank you so much to the Holy Theotokos!
I was having a busy week, Told my aunty I was going to see the Priest at St Nickolas church and I would call her when I was there to speak to her.
Thursday after work I made my way to St Nickolas Church, on the way I was asking myself. How do I ask a priest I dont even know, not even his name to call and speak with my aunty? and why should he call her? My aunty does not know him, or he either?
I continued, but all I knew, was the Priest from St Nickolas was to call my aunty.
I went into the church and asked to see the Priest. I was told to enter his office so I did.
After speaking to the Priest a few minutes and telling him of my aunty and that I wanted him to call her, he asked me who is your aunty? I told him Niki.
But she is from another State, Melbourne.
He asked me where? Im from Melbourne But am unable to recall who your aunty is. I asked again can you please call her? And he did.
The Priests name is Father Spiro and the minute he spoke to my aunty he was overcome with joy!!
Both my aunty and Father Spiro where very grateful for what I had done, It was not me,but all I know was this was to happen.
Thank the Lord and all it Saints and Thank you to the Most Holy Theotokos.
God bless everyone.

Dear Ioannis & Monachos Members,
Last Thursday I took my Mother to her surgical oncologist for a chest x-ray and check up. This will be her regular routine every 3 months for the next 2 years due to her surgery and lung cancer. May I joyfully and with all humility share what happened?
Her doctor walked into the examining room and exclaimed, "You look amazing! Oh my gosh!" And she did look amazing. Not only was she dressed beautifully but her faith in God and positive attitude shone through her like a beacon from her face. At least two more times the doctor exclaimed how wonderful she looked.
He listened to her breathing and check her incision which has healed beautifully. He looked at her x-ray and proclaimed, "The x-ray shows no cancer in the chest region at this time! Go home and I'll see you in 3 months!"
We know that lung cancer is a tough one to beat but no matter, we are so grateful to God for this good news at this time.
Glory to God! Glory to Him forever. Thank you Ioannis and all others who prayed for her and lit a candle.
Love in Christ, Athanasia

Firstly I would like to thank Athanasia, and each and everyone who has prayed for my aunty Niki. Thank you. Athanaisa, I will keep your mother in my prayers so that the Lord holds your Mother safe.
Its been almost 2 months since my first post. And from what seemed to be urgent, now seems to have been a calling. Not only for myself but for many.
What Im saying is. The Lord has always been at hand for my aunty, he has never been far. The calling was for myself from God to look deeper into my religious belief and put my faith in him.
This I have done with all my heart and pray I continue also, to my dying day.
I have seen and heard things which at times I didnt understand.
I ask the Question, how can someone live, without the circulation of blood? And with the cancer? I say to myself, Dont ask where this cancer is, but rather in what part of her body does she not have cancer? The other Question, How does she breath? And her doctors! Their disgnosis? "You wont make it through the next 3 days" They been saying that for almost 13 years.
Then to talk with my Aunty, her only fear is in lossing God! As for the rest she is fine. To look at her and speak to her, you wouldnt know she was so sick and near death.
The hospital now turn her away, as they see my aunty as nothing but a waste of hospital funds, sad to say, but true.
The Lord gives her life. Im not saying that one shouldnt pray for the sick, One must at all times.
But I feel at this point I should also give thanks.
Thanks to the Lord Jesus Christ, The Most Holy Theotokos, St Nicholas, and to All The Saints. Thank you so much for the miracles you provide us with each and every minute of the day. Again Thank you. Ioannis

Dear Ioannis,
Glory to God for all things! How happy I am to read of God's blessing for your aunty; that she is able to attend church and feels well. Truly God's gifts!
My mother is well also. She has had a return of good strength. Her chemotherapy worked well and she has no more cancer in her chest cavity. She must continue under doctor's care for many years, but for now she is at peace.
May God, in His infinite wisdom and love, continue to bless your dear aunty. All glory and honor to Him!
With prayers,
Athanasia
