I have a few prayer requests. My sister, Kacey, is falling from the faith. She says she's a Christian, yet, she continues to use the Lord's name in vain, and she told me that she's been having sex with her fiance. Another one of my sisters, Beth, is not a Christian by any means, but she is searching for the Truth. Will you please pray for my sisters, including Jennifer and Stacey, that they will find the right path and stay on it? I have one more. Will you please pray that I will make the right decision, whether or not to join the Orthodox Church? If I do, that will mean abandoning alot of my views on the Bible. But, I guess, if the Orthodox Church is the Truth, it's better to listen to Her, the body of Christ, rather than my own thinking. Thank you.

O God, our heavenly Father, who loves mankind, and are most merciful and compassionate, have mercy upon Kacey, Beth, and James. Be, O God, their guide and guardian n all their endeavors, lead them in the path of Your Truth, and draw them nearer to You, that they may lead a godly and righteous life in Your love and fear; doing Your will in all things. Give them grace that they may be temperate, industrious, diligent, devout, and charitable. Defend them against the assaults of the enemy, and grant them wisdom and strength to resist all temptation and curruption of this life; and direct them in the way of salvation, through the merits of Your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ, and the intercessions of His Holy Mother and Your blessed saints. Amen.

Help us, O Lord, to hear the words You spoke to Jairus, whose daughter was cured: "Do not be afraid; only have faith." (Mark 5:36). Help us to hear them, even though we say with the father of the possessed son, "I believe Lord, help my unbelief!" (Mark 9:24)

Help us, O Lord, to believe that Your promise is true, that Your words, unlike so many of ours, are not empty. You have said, "Let there be light," and there was light. You also said, "Everyone who looks upon the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life." (john 6:40) Help us, O Lord, to believe and to abide in Your presene right now, that in the moments ahead we may dwell in Your house forever. Amen.
