Prayers for military personnel

Dear Members,

There are several young men I know who are serving or have recently enlisted in the military. Two are overseas in Iraq. A third reports for boot camp August 10. I was wondering if the priest who served as a military chaplain is on this list as I would like to give him their names for commemoration during Liturgy. None of the young men are Orthodox but all are Christians and serving God to the best of their abilities.

I will post their names if it is okay with the Moderator. I can't remember the rules about that.

I am one of the moderators while Matthew Steenberg is away. I think the posting of the names of people to pray for is quite alright from what I have seen here before. But I think it's better to post this on this thread (which I have already moved it to- so don't worry. Keep posting to this thread.)

Thank you Fr. Raphael. Their names are as follows:

LCpl. David Hall (Marines). He is currently in his 3rd tour in Iraq. Due state-side September 2006.

Christopher Hall (Army). Younger brother to David. He reports to boot camp August 10, 2006.

Adam Saunders (Marines) He is deploying to Iraq September 2006 till February 2007. Newly married. Wife: Patti.

May the Lord have mercy on them and protect them.
