Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Please add Andy to your prayer list. He is just two months old and is suffering from acid reflux. He has had a number of difficult attacks that have caused him to actually stop breathing and gasp for air. He is a first child and his parents are extremely worried for his safety. They have asked pdarishoners to pray for Andy's healing. Would you be so kind to include his name- and his parents Aaron and Kathy in your prayers? Thank you for your Christian love. Eugenia

Dear Peter and all who have prayed for Andy and his parents.
andy's father brought him to the Vesperal Liturgy for the feast day of the Cross.
He cried during the whole liturgy and yet Aaron took him up for communion. He is only two months old. On Sunday, Aaron, Kathy and Andy were in church for liturgy and I was amazed at the change in only a few days. Andy was looking around and cried very little. He seemed comfortable and only had a few spells.
I spoke with his father yesterday. His news is that as soon as he sent out the prayer request, Andy started to get better each day. He is now on Zantac and has some inability to keep food down-but has not had the frightening losing breath and gasping for air. Aaron, his father, said he attributes it all to the prayers and God's mercy! Thank you all- having children and grandchildren of my own- I know of no other fear and total helplessness than when you have a child in pain and distress and you are totally incapable of knowing what to do. Keep this family in your prayers! They are converts to our faith, they are role models in expressing their faith in daily living, and Aaron, is studying for the Diaconate. He is gifted with artisitic talents and seems drawn to writing icons. God bless you all for your compassion and selflessness. In Christ, Eugenia.

Dear Pilgrims...a short update from Andy's father. Praise God! eugenia
Hi everybody,
I just wanted to send a little update and let you know that Andy's condition
seems to be improving with each passing day. I truly believe your prayers
have worked wonders. I was blown away by all the caring responses I
received, along with offers to help and additions to prayer lists. (It's my
understanding that people have been praying for the little guy as far away
as Australia!) After sending out that e-mail a week ago, Andy's
not-breathing episodes stopped happening that very night. We did have a
little relapse with two episodes early this week, but I think that was just
a small setback that I attribute to problems with getting him to take his
medicine. Overall, Kathy and I feel he is continuing to get better all the
time. But please continue to keep him in your prayers, and please also
accept our heartelt gratitude for all the help you've given us through the
simple power of prayer. God bless you!
Aaron
thank you all for your kindness and prayers
