Thanks everyone. I was incredibly nervous after I made the decision, wondering if I was careful enough ininvestigating, but now I'm glad to have done it.

There is so much about Orthodoxy that you simply can't know through mere investigation, and quite frankly the stuff you can't know is the better portion, IMO. I "investigated" (read stalled :) ) Orthodoxy for over a decade before plunging into the Bosporus this year. When I told my wife that I thought it was time we actively started looking at Orthodoxy, her response? "I wondered what was taking you so long."
So, really, thanks be to God for this step. There is no better place, none more beautiful and none more "right". By that I don't mean dogmatics, or lists of positions, or anything of the sort. But rather just really the right place. Its where you were designed to fit.

First off--congrats Matthew! May God bless your walk and faithfulness :)
Secondly wanted to say jleecbd that your statement struck me as what must be truth. I'm not a catechumen yet (have yet to be able to settle in a parish), and have not even chosen to follow Orthodoxy long, but I do believe the stuff one can learn through 'investigation' is a great deal of help, but not the 'better portion'(I have been learning a lot of this type of knowledge). I cannot wait to respond to God's direction in my life in that area and be in the right place. Thanx for that comment.
(sorry to get off topic! Just butting in...)
