Fellow members of this community,

You may notice that, following the earlier discussions about the sluggishness of the server, etc., Matthew has provided an opportunity for those who wish to make a subscription to the site to do so.

I hope as many of us as can afford to will do so. It is a wonderful virtual community which many of us value - and now we have a chance to do more than just say so.:)

In Christ

These are purely practical questions: Is there anything one can do to prevent a subscription from renewing automatically, and if this is not possible, how long in advance does one need to give notice, and how can one contact the person responsible? I am happy to contribute to Monachos, but I prefer to make the renewal myself when a year's subscription ends.

As regards access, I would like to know what I have to do to be able to look at the pictures from Cyprus. So far I haven't been able to reach the page with information on what level 2 subscriptions permit.

Hi Mary Ann,

Fr. Dcn can give a much better explanation. You will get a reminder e-mail when your year is about up. You will also notice all the ads return so it will be quite obvious. I had to request my subscription roll over as it seems to me it automatically ends at the end of each subscription year.

Level 2 subscriptions allow you more features and the ability to post more photos and keep more PM than level 1. It is just a larger storage capacity.

I also can't get into the Cyprus photos. This is probably due to the person not making the album public. I don't know why this person would post pictures and then not allow others to see them, but it may just be because he has not found the box to click. I asked him a year or so ago, and he has not responded so it is possible he is no longer with us.

Hope this helps
Paul
