Recently I ran across a reference to a prayer...akathist or something...I think to the blessed Theotokos with regard to purity of the heart or purity of the mind. I know someone who is looking for something like this but I can't remember the title, who publishes it, or if it is available on-line anywhere. Any suggestions.

I did a google search and found this purity rule (http://www.orthodoxinfo.com/praxis/purityrule.aspx). It's probably not the one you're looking for, since its not to the Blessed Virgin; but might be of some use to your friend.
