Small Compline

A little question about movement of the priest in compline.

The small compline begins with the priest before the holy doors.

Then he says the initial prayers: Blessed...
etc. till Come let us worship.

Then 3 reverences by the priest immediately and entering in the sanctuary.
How should I understand it: does the priest enter the sanctuary during the psalm etc. Or does he enter after the psalms?

I read this to mean that the priest re-enters the Altar after having made the three reverences with the congregation called for at "O come let us worship and fall down..." which ends the introductory prayers. So he would be in the Altar during the introductory psalms.

According to my interpretation it would be clearer if they had said "then the priest, after having made the three reverences, immediately goes into the sanctuary.
