Greetings,
Hello everyone I just wanted to say that converting to Orthodoxy has been the best decision I have ever made. If anyone is thinking about joining the true Church of Christ May God bless your decision. It will change your life for ever. I am not saying that you will never have any more problems in life, however life will certainly have alot more meaning. There is so much to study, so many church Fathers to read, and there is such an antiqueness about Orthodoxy that cannot be duplicated. I am so happy and grateful to have found this wonderful church. Thanks be to God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
In Christ,
Patrick: ;) ;)

What a wonderful patron you have!!! I'm a convert like you, and I still remember the joy of my reception into the church almost 6 years ago. I would only add that joining the Ancient Church also means entering a serious battle with our sins which will continue until the day we die. Being an Orthodox Christian who has seen the true faith means I now have fewer if any excuses before Christ's judgment seat than I would have before I knew of Orthodoxy, or had I never found it. Being Orthodox is a great joy, but the process of becoming like Christ is painful and it means facing up to our sins and trying to be better. I am barely beginning this struggle, maybe I haven't properly begun at all yet. But I have also felt at times that wonderful peace and it certainly outweighs the trials. Just my humble ramblings.
