Looking for a specific text from Elder Emilianos

Hello there,

I was wondering if someone could help me find a specific text. I was at a YAL workshop in Chicago not to long ago and there was some text that was read to us from Elder Emilianos, but Father John Rallis didn't give the book's title, to be more specific he didn’t remember from which text he got it from. I did some searching and am having a hard time recognizing any possibilities, but the Elder's name is definitely on the web. Does anyone know of any text's that Elder Emilianos has written in regards to love or relationships?

Could this be The Authentic Seal? These are spiritual instructions and discourses of Elder Emilianos printed by Ormylia. Although I really don't know if this is where the text Fr John read came from.

Thank you very much! I think this may be it! I will look into it more. I think I wrote his name wrong and it is Archimandrite Aimilianos.

Do the contents of "The Authentic Seal" include the same materials that are in "The Church at Prayer" by Elder Aimilianos? Is one title recommended over the other?

Please note that "The Church at Prayer" is a chapter of the main book "The Authentic Seal" and published seperately as an individual piece of work. It can be dowloaded off the Intranet as a PDF.

In Greek, there are more volumes to The Authentic Seal but these have not yet been translated into English ....

The main ones are in greek ... only the Authentic Seal volume 1 has been printed in English and it has also been translated into French, all other volumes and works are not as yet translated by the nuns from Ormylia (Monastery in Greece and current residency for the Elder).

I just would like to inform everyone that the elder no longer writes or speaks with anyone. He has an illlness that renders him incapable of communicating with people ... some say, that God has permitted him to come out of this illness miraculously on few occassions ... he is being cared for by the nuns at Ormylia monastery in Greece.

Thank you but it brings up a very important issue. This church is in breach of International copyright laws firstly and second do they have the specific BLESSING of the Ormylia Convent to reproduce the writings of the Elder without their permission?

What they are doing is in serious breach of spiritual and pulication copyright laws ...

You should get in contact with this site and advise them that they should not be posting chunks of a printed book without the permission and rights of the publication house.

I see you are Greek, so I would wholeheartedly recommend you buy and study everything that has been published by Ormylia from his talks. They are truly matchless...

Do keep in mind that his recorded speeches exceed the thousands, there seems to be now subject worth investigating that he hasn't investigated in the way it should be, however, the sisters at Ormylia, as well as the Fathers at Simonos Petra need decades to transcribe them all and publish them!
