It has been a very long time since I have posted here. Anyway, I have been doing alot of study on Eastern Orthodoxy, and I've been to St. Symeon Orthodox Church four or five times. I love the services. This week {Wed}, I met with the Priest in a book store/coffee shop. I feel like I've made up my mind that I want to convert.

God be with you on your spiritual journey. May you have a blessed and spiritually profitable Lenten Spring and a joyous Holy Pascha! Welcome home!

Dear James,
Though I do not know you from Monachos, how joyful you must feel! I am curious though, which St. Symeon is the Church dedicated to?
May I ask humbly your prayers for me, and please be assured of my unworthy prayers for you James.
faithfully,

Thanks, y'all. The Church is dedicated to St. Symeon the New Theologion. I don't know that much about different saints, so I didn't know there was another St. Symeon. Yes, I will pray for you. Anything specific?
God Bless.

Dear James,
You would be surprised how many St. Symeons' there are!
As for praying for me, I am quite ill, so if you would simply light a candle for me this in itself would be a wonderful gesture.

I will certainly pray for you. But light a candle? Of course I would, but I'm not Orthodox yet.
