Does anyone know of an Eastern Orthodox Church in Tampa, Florida? I'm asking because after I get my GED I'm going to work with my dad down there for a while, so I may not be able to take Catechism classes here in Alabama, and I would hate to put it off. Does anyone go to a Church or know of a Church in Tampa, Florida?
Thanks & God Bless.

Well, for starters, there is St. Philip the Apostle Mission (http://www.oca.org/DIRlisting.asp?SID=9&KEY=OCA-SO-TAMSPA) (OCA) right in Tampa.

Dear James,

There is a parish of the Moscow Patriarchate located in the outskirts of Tampa. It has been at least ten years since I have been there. I believe that it is St Gregory Russian Orthodox Church. I believe that it is listed in the phone book. It is a lovely community. Across the way in Clearwater there are churches of the Greek Archdiocese and a ROCOR parish in St. Petersburg. I also believe that the OCA has a couple of missions in the area. You would have to check their website for that information. I hope this helps.

In IC XC,

James:
Just type in "eastern orthodox church tampa" or some similar type into any search engine and you get a slew of them.
