Logging in and out

I have recently found myself automatically logged out several times, usually when I have composed a post or a private message and want to submit it. This is not a big problem - so far I have always managed to log in again without losing what I have written. But I was wondering whether this is really meant to happen?

Dear Anthony,

If you click on the little box which says 'stay logged on' as you log on, you won't have to keep logging in.
