Hi everyone and Xpistos Anesti!

I am new on here, it looks like a good forum site.

Recently a question has arisen among my fellow orthodox friends. This question is " what is the difference between the Old Testament saints and the New Testament saints?'

I was told that there is a fundmental difference. I would appreciate if anyone here has had Orthodox theological training or is a preist, i am gratefull for any Orthodox clue or answer to this question.

Thank you.

St Justin the Philosopher says in his Dialogue with Trypho that the OT ones attain a certain Holiness that they can reach under the Law handed down to them. For NT it is the Holiness the people can attain by what Christ has taught.
