Dear Matthew,

An invitation to reminisce ...! That shows an optimism!

But seriously, I would like to propose a vote of thanks to you, for without you we should not have this site, and despite what must be the more than occasional moment of mild despair with us all at times, I hope that you think, as we do, that the effort is worth it.

I know that you tend to deprecate any personalisation of things, but in this instance, after 30,000 posts, I do feel that a quiet vote of thanks to you is in order. (I think the other moderators could do with a vote of thanks too).

(But I'm still not sure about that invitation to reminisce).;)

In Christ,

John

Dear Matthew,

Though I may not post often, I do read the topics daily. I have to say that this is one of the best online discussion boards dedicated to the Orthodox faith. I believe that you, the moderators, and all the posters here deserve a vote of thanks.:)

In IC XC,
Father Anthony+

Here, Here.

(stage right and left) Clapping and applause in the background.
(audience cue) The roar of the crowd is deafening.

Can you hear it?

A special thanks for the lifeline to this Sinner. Thank you Matthew and all!
