I was looking for where I could find the texts the Pilgrim is told to read in his dream. I found most of them in Volume 4, but I couldn't find Callistus and Ignatius.
All of the texts in order are:
Nicephorus the Solitary
Gregory of Sinai (excluding the short chapters)
Simeon the New Theologian
Three Kinds of Prayer
Discourse on Faith
Callistus and Ignatius

Stuart,
Someone asked a similar question over a year ago; since the thread is that old, it probably doesn't show up in the forum directory for you. I've quoted the post which asked the question since it will give you a link to that thread.
Dear brothers and sisters.
If anyone of you has multi-volume English translation of Philokalia, could you please check which volume has the text "The monks Kallistus and Ignatius" and whether there are chapters 68-70 in this text. The problem is that both the Russian 5-volume translation of Philokakia and the English "Writings from Philokalia on the Prayer of the Heart" have those chapters missing.

There is volume of the philokalia published by Faber and Faber called Writings from the Philokalia on Prayer of the Heart. This is not one of the numbered volumes but a separate collection. It contains:
I
Nicephorus the solitary
St Gregory of Sinai. Texts on commandments, etc
St Gregory of Sinai. Instructions to Hesychasts
St Simeon the New Theologian. Precepts
St Simeon the New Theologian. On faith. Profitable tale. Three methods of attention and prayer
Callistus and ignatius of Xanthopoulos
II
Hesychius of Jerusalem
Philotheus of Sinai
St Barsanuphius and St John
Theoleptus, Metropolitan of Philadelphia
III
St Philemon othe Abba
Part one seems to be the entire list from "Way of a Pilgrim" in order. I don't know if this volume is still available in print (I got mine from the will of a monk I knew who died - it was one of two books that I received from him - pray for the soul of the monk Lazarus)

I found a listing for it at Archangels Books (http://www.archangelsbooks.com/proddetail.asp?prod=FABPALMER-05) but they say it's out of stock; St. Tikhon's Press (http://www.stspress.com/detail.aspx?ID=1959) does appear to have copies available. Also, Amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com/Writings-Philokalia-Prayer-E-Kadloubovsky/dp/0571163939) has several used and new copies offered by private sellers.

I was very fortunate to have been given a copy of this book, by my Priest, during my time as a catechumen.

Fortunately enough to have a copy of the Philokalie here I can say in mine there are Callistus and Ignatius Xanthopoulos complete contained. And in mine Russian Добротолюбеб as far as I remember also.

I was able to obtain a copy from www.a1books.com (http://www.a1books.com). Somehow I think I got it from their subsidiary A1 Techbooks or something, but I got it for about $13. Just took a lot longer shipping because the subsidiary didn't have it. (Good things come to those who wait...and nag the subsidiary) I believe A1 Books in general still has a few copies left.

I would ask my godfather for a blessing to read the Philokalia if I were you.

Hmmm I never heard this before. I have heard we need to ask blessing of our spiritual/confessor father but not of Godparents... Can you explain for me please where did you learn this?
