Is there anyone who has a copy of the book "Functional and Disfunctional Christianity" by Philotheos Faros of Holy Cross Seminary? I have a copy of an excerpt and want to check one of the footnotes, but I don't have the footnotes copied out. Is there anyone who has the book who is willing to look it up for me?
Also, just generally, if you have read the book what is your impression of it?

"Functional and Dysfunctional Christianity" has a lot depth and relevance for an Orthodox Christian for whom the parish rather than a monastery is central. He quotes St. John Chrysostom a lot, incisively. He speaks of the therapeutic way, with an emphasis on love over against the narcissistic individualism of the modern western world. But I'm not finished quite yet. His last chapters will deal critically with the Western Christian Ethos. Oh, also- He is not in favor of some of the liturgical reforms that are extant in the USA; he's very wary of western influences, as we all should be. To contact me in regard to your excerpt, my email address is ephremgall@yahoo.com
May God grant you many years. - Ephrem
