Are there particular times that moderators log on to validate or reject new posts, such that I can say to myself, for example, "Oops! It's almost 3PM. The moderators check things out at 3:15PM, so I'd better finish quickly if I want to see my post on the forum today"? Is there such a schedule, or does validation/rejection simply take place whenever a moderator has time? This is the first forum I've been on that moderates messages before they're visible, and I'd like to synch myself up with the "master schedule" if there is one.

No there is no "master schedule" and since there are three moderators, all in different time zones, a "master schedule" would be somewhat difficult to coordinate. The moderation queue just gets addressed whenever one of us logs on and addresses it. Some posts will go through right away, some may require more thought/time. It is not an exact science - and remember this is Orthodoxy, we don't do anything much in an organized fashion and punctuality is not one of our "strong points".
