Are there any Orthodox monasteries in Ireland or anywhere around there? Ireland has such a rich Orthodox history, I was surprised to only find St. Kevin of Glendalough (who, btw, is an awesome saint) Monastery... but it was old and more of a historical site, not even in use. I found no currently thriving monasteries in Ireland, to my sadness. Does anyone know of any?

Dear Justin,
To what I have read there are only a few Orthodox communities and missions in Ireland, most of which have only started in the last couple decades. My guess is that until these communities can get situated better, the prospect for a monastery would be slim at present.
