Christus Resurrexit!

I wonder whether anybody here may be able to help me. I recently managed to acquire a copy of the very good Hierchical Divine Liturgy of St John Chrysostom (ISBN 9781880364086), published in 1995 by the (now defunct) Christ of the Hills Monastery. I am delighted with it and look forward to learning from it.

However, I notice that it mentions an accompanying volume, which is the equivalent for the Liturgy of St Basil. None of the usual suppliers of second-hand and rare books that I know has any stock of it and, due to the unpleasantness surounding that monastery, it is no longer in print. Does anybody know where I may acquire a copy? To make matters worse, I can only find an ISBN-10 as opposed to an ISBN-13. However, here it is: 18880364085. I should be very grateful indeed for any assistance.

Alternatively, if anybody knows of any good substitutes, that would also be good.

Thank you so much.

Pax,
Michael

The hierarchal liturgy book is essentially their notes from the practice at Holy Trinity Monastery (Jordanville). At the time I was pretty familiar with their offerings, but I do not recall ever seeing the other book you mention (St Basil's Liturgy)s. There are quite a few service books out there with St Basil's liturgy and the serving notes would be identical to that of St John Chrysostom's liturgy (the only difference between the two are the private prayers of the priest and the hymn to the Mother of God at the consecration - "In Thee All Creation Rejoices").

Thank you, Father.

I suppose I don't need the other book. My guess is that it had a significantly smaller print run anyway so is very unlikely to be readily available today. I just wanted to have the complete pair, as it were.

Oh well.

Michael
