Can the the origin of evil be broken down to a cellular or cosmic level?
would this have anything to do with evolutionary theory?
I have read something pertaining to this in a book is why I ask.

What is the origin of Evil? Satan. A created being that felt he was equal to or superior to his creator; God.
Pride = Satan within us. Pride is the worst of all evils.
Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?”
[...]
4 Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. 5 For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
6 So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. 7
Pride led to the fall (see other thread) Man allowed satan to enter his heart now we are like him. Pride is not something we can "see". Yes, we can see the result of pride, but not pride itself. It cannot be put under a microscope. Man is the only creature on earth that is prideful. It has nothing to do with evolution other than it has gotten worse within this species. (or should I say, ME).
Pride has not evolved. Man has not changed since his creation. Only his technology has improved. Now because we can talk with people around the world and walk a man on the moon, we think we are smarter which is another form of pride. Had man had a spaceship 7000 years ago, he still could have walked on the moon. We have not changed except to love God less.
