Hello all!

I would like to ask those more knowledgable in the Fathers, if there is any Patristic use of the word "Christianism" as referring to the religion of Christians. From my lay perspective, it seems the Fathers always speak of the Church or the Body of Christ or images like vines etc., but I do not recall the use of "Christianism".

In Christ,

I don't know about the use of a term similar to what you mention, however, your question does bring to mind the essay by the New Martyr Bishop Ilarion (Triotsky) called "Christianity or the Church (http://www.fatheralexander.org/booklets/english/christianity_church_e.htm)"
