'Picture comments waiting approval' feature

Hello:

I just received a notification that I have picture comments waiting approval. This must be a new feature here.

However, I don't really want comments on my pictures though this feature (I just want the pictures to stand alone). So I'm asking for help making them go away. I tried hitting the not approved button but I get a message each time stating that I have not selected a valid picture comment (or something like that).

I did check the box next to the comments and it looks like I'm doing it correctly . . . but obviously not.

Can someone please help this stick in the mud figure out how to remove the comments. :o

PS I tried the delete option too, but it showed that they would be 'soft deleted' which if I understood that correctly meant they would still be able to be viewed? :confused:

You're late to the show Rick,

I had this challenge a few months ago when the feature first came out. Only thing was I could not delete them at all. I was never able to make them "go away" completely, but I was able to type in for the reasn of the delete "no longer needed" as I had already seen the post. Now, I have the persons name and the reason for the deleted post. I in no way meant this as a slight to those posting, I thought the comments were just for me to see and no others. However it looks as if I did not care and deleted their kind remarks.

I would say leave them unless they cause you great distress. :( I could never remove completely the footprint of the kind remarks.
