I am looking for links or the actual images in traditional Byzantine style of icons depicting the 6 (7) days of creation. I have seen them once so they do exist. We are currently working on adding iconography to our academy chapel, and this would be part of the last phase. Any help would be appreciated.

Dear Fr Anthony
I'll look through my icon archive for you. I'll be happy to send on any suitable graphics of icons depicting the creation. A word of advice: The Creator must be portrayed as God the Son and Word, not as the uncanonical "old man with a white beard" God the Father depiction.

Dear Olga,
The icons with God the Father as an old man are not the types I am looking, but rather those that are following the traditional rules of iconography. I look forward to anything you might have that follows those rules.

Dear Father,
Maybe what you are thinking of is the series of frescoes on creation which originate from a convent in Greece (can't remember the name of the convent though). In recent years many reproductions of these have been made. One of these appears on the front cover of Fr Seraphim Rose's book on Genesis and Creation.

Thumbnails of two of these icons (plus some others also on creation) can be found on this page. (http://www.skete.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=category.display&category_id=35).
You can enlarge them by clicking on them but it doesn't seem that you can save them to your PC.

Dear Father,
I believe that is the series I am looking for to base these prototypes for our iconography on.

Thank you Misha!
I will try to phone them in the morning to see if they have anything either in print or digitally that we can use.

I particularly like the Creation of Adam icon. I had seen the original once in a book. It was a black and white photo of a Byzantine image and was really old. The best I could do to locate a similar image is this source. It roughly covers what the original looks like but not really ... if I ever come across it again I will surely post it here.
